Recover in style

One in three women with breast cancer undergoes a mastectomy. During this procedure, a drain is inserted to collect wound fluid. At home, patients carry the drain with a transparent collection bottle with them for another week. During this difficult time, The DrainBag helps women to resume their daily lives as best as possible. After a successful crowdfunding campaign, we delivered 100 recyclable DrainBags to 6 hospitals, where they are given directly to patients.

The designs by Loes Glas, Tesj!, and Inge Schmitt accommodate the transparent Redovac 600cc collection bottle of the drain. They are comfortably worn on the hip, and the wound drain is nearly invisible.
